- I read the crane truck's last verse and count four lines that rhyme in pairs - in and grin, tight and goodnight. Every truck's turn is built the same way, so the class can hear a rhyme coming before it arrives.

- Using Passages 5, 10 and 13, find the words that rhyme in each verse.
- Expected answer:
- The crane truck's verse pairs in with grin and tight with goodnight. The dump truck's pairs gate with late and doors with snores. The cement mixer's runs drum and fun. The rhyme always lands on the last word of the line, and the second of each pair is usually the sleepy word - goodnight, late, snores, fun - so the rhyme and the going-to-sleep arrive together.
