- Passage 3 - a mass of bright green leaves with one odd shape among them
- Passage 4 - a leaf-shaped insect on a leaf, both the same green
- Passage 7 - branching yellow seaweed underwater
- Passage 11 - a green tree frog with its throat sac puffed out
- Focus:
- Animals that are hard to see on purpose
- Teacher direction:
- Ask what camouflage means and where the class has seen it.
