- Passage 6 - the boy asleep, an adult's hand at the edge of the frame
- Passage 7 - four adults crowded in a doorway, one pointing
- Passage 8 - the boy asleep in an oval frame
- Focus:
- A prediction the grown-ups get almost right
- Teacher model:
- Read these pages and ask what happens after the grown- ups think he is asleep.
