- Passage 6 - Louis leaning down to her, trumpet in hand
- Passage 7 - Louis and the girl with their arms up, both singing

- Passage 14 - the same rope, the girl in the air over it
- Focus:
- Learning passed on outside a classroom
- Teacher direction:
- Ask who has taught them something outside school.
- Prepared text:

- A house where music is already normal

- Read the book, stopping after the opening page to ask what the two of them are doing.
