Lesson sequence
1 Where you heard it first - 4 min
- Passage 13 - the neighbourhood kids turning a double dutch rope
- Passage 14 - the same rope, the girl in the air over it
- Focus:
- A song introduced by the person who made it up
- Teacher model:
- Read the song where Louis sings it and ask whose it is.
- Prepared text:
- Passage 7 2 Same words - 6 min
- Teacher direction:
- Compare the two songs and mark anything that differs.
- Expected answer:
- Nothing differs. The words are the same both times.

- Write what is different about the second time, using the page around the song.
