A row of boxes along a line, one for each heading, in order
- The book, on a screen the whole class can see Four entries copied with their headings
- Prepared passages: Passage 4, Passage 5, Passage 6, Passage 7
- Passage 4 - a framed painting of cherubs in clouds, two figures below
- Passage 5 - a hand-drawn map headed Plan of Action, with numbered stops and a compass
rose
- Passage 6 - the girl awake in bed, her glasses on the bedside table

- Read these two headings and say which came first and why.

- Read this heading and say what has changed.
